New Soufriere Foundation Board Announced
(Soufriere, St. Lucia) February 15, 2011 – The Soufriere Regional Development Foundation announces the appointment of a new board. The appointment came after weeks of uncertainty as to who would govern the affairs of this stellar Caribbean institution.

Over 100 Soufriere youth to be trained In Culinary Skills, Housekeeping and Bartending
Over 100 young, unemployed Soufriere residents will benefit from three to four months of skills training in the next few months. Over the next three weeks EC$140,000 worth of scholarships will be provided to deserving residents of Soufriere. This amount marks the highest amount ever spent by the organization on its scholarships programme which begun in 2005.
