Big Bamboo

This day-time restaurant is transformed to a roadside pub at nights. If you can, “Carry Your Key”, then join the many persons who start their party weekends with a drink and a view on Friday evenings at the Big Bamboo. Situated near the waterfront on the Soufriere Bay, the Big Bamboo is a place not to be missed!

Big Yard
This day-time restaurant situated between two colonial style walls on Bridge Street comes to life with karaoke on Wednesday nights and an after work lime on Friday evenings. The tempo is taken up several beats every fortnight when the Big Yard plays host to one of St. Lucia’s soca or reggae bands or hot DJ’s.

Club Kokomo
Located in the residential neighborhood of New Development, this nightclub is the perfect entertainment spot for young music lovers. With its sports bar, strobe lights and theme nights, Club Kokomo represents partying Soufriere style. Come try out their unique concoctions and dance the night away.

Daito

Located near the Soufriere Cemetery and within the compound of the Fishers Complex, this daytime fisheries complex turn nighttime dance hall is a country and western lover’s delight. The Daito as it is commonly called is the mecca of country and western dancing, however, this sleeping giant only awakes once a month to chase the nearby spirits away.

Side Track Cafe
This popular street side pub was once the hangout spot of many St. Lucian politicians. Sandy’s serves up the best local concoctions and is a hangout spot for many residents. If you want to do it like we do it, then join the folks on Darnley Alexander Street.

Sunset’s Bar

Located on the second floor of an ideally located and eye catching building on Bridge Street, its quaint open styled verandah makes it the perfect spot for a great view of the streets below and a hideout for country and western lovers. At Sunset you can watch the sun set, indulge yourself in the music of Jim Reeves or Tammy Winette while you sip on a Piton beer or immerse yourself in conversation with the warm and friendly owner. And if your timing is right, party with the many residents who come to waltz to country and western music at one of the bar’s monthly dances.

Volney’s Pork Country
If you enjoy barbeque pork, this is the place for you. This quaint country bar comes alive only on Friday’s when John and his wife serve up sumptuous strips of well-grilled pork marinade in organic local seasonings and the best black pudding in the land. Located on the shoulder of the Belfond Hill, this quiet getaway is only for the pork lover and the wannabe conversationalists.

This weekday bar turn night club on weekends is a soca, cadence and reggae lovers delight. Its many themed dances make it a favourite of the working class. Up above the dance floor and away from the strobes lights is a private lounge in which the more reserved can hang out with friends or by oneself.
